Gonzalo Escobar – Sebastian Ofner Match Prediction | 28-08-2019 04:00

Vukic has currently three defeats in a row, the last one was against Collarini. After four defeats in a row, Escobar won here in the 1st round against Forti. Vukic is 274th player on atp rank, this year he has 9/9 on clay and 12/12 on hard court. Escobar is 372th player on atp rank, this year he has 0/2 indoors, 6/11 on clay and 9/5 on hard court. Escobar won in the first meeting on ITF touranment three years ago. I think that he is much better player on this surface than Vukic so I really don't know why is Vukic favourite according to odds. Challenger L'Aquila, 2nd round, the match between Escobar and Vukic.

The 140th ranked Ofner had a poor start of the season on hard courts, and was riding a 5 match losing streak before entering the ATP event in Sao Paolo last week. He played some good tennis against good players, beating Cecchinato 6-3 6-3 and losing a tight two setter in the second round against Cuevas (4-6 6-7). In his first clay court tournament of the year, Ofner suddenly managed to regain his form and had a great showing, passing the qualies and reaching the second round.

He had a very good start to the clay court season and will surely try to build on that this week in Santiago, as he is chasing a spot in the top 100 players in the world. Ofner looked pretty good last week in Sao Paolo, going toe to toe with a couple of Top 100 players. His level of play against Cecchinato and Cuevas was actually really solid.

He was defeated by Quiroz in the Davis Cup at the start of February, and also lost to the 797th ranked Villanueva last week in the qualifications at the Punta Del Este challenger. Lama is currently ranked outside of the Top 400 and is on the main draw here in Santiago due to a wildcard. Gonzalo Lama played just two matches this year, losing both of them against poor opposition.

In Puerto Vallarta, they have taken that concept to the next level, making it a world-class experience for the players as well. With the sun glistening off the majestic Mexican waters, it's easy to mistake the tournament for a relaxing week at the beach. But that's exactly what tournament founders Javier Romero, David Davila and Javier Ramirez had in mind.

Void bets occur when the bet is not decided as a win or loss and the stake is returned to the player. Note: bookmakers' policies on voided matches changes so we always recommend players to check the specific terms of bookmakers they bet with to ensure they understand under what circumstances they void bets. This happens when a match is suspended, posponed, or cancelled e.g. a common void bet occurs in tennis when a player retires through injury.
