Our Prediction:

Colorado Avalanche will win

Calgary Flames – Colorado Avalanche Match Prediction | 04-10-2019 21:05

The Flames racked up 107 points for a reason and I think the OT home loss will be a bit of a wakeup call that the Avs aren't going to go easily. Calgary was a big favorite in Game 2 but could not finish the job and now are in danger of going behind in the series on the road. But I don't think that happens. Calgary has done well as a favorite this season and I am betting on it to get the job done here.

Calgary is 15-7 in their last 22 home games and 22-10 in their last 32 games against a team with a losing record while the under is 8-3-1 in their last 12 games overall. Colorado is 8-3 in their last 11 games overall and 34-75 in their last 109 road games while the under is 5-2 in their last 7 games against a team with a winning record. Colorado is 1-8 in the last 9 meetings between these two teams and 0-5 in the last 5 meetings between these two teams in Calgary.

However, the Flames have a considerable edge in goaltending in my opinion, and had no issues sweeping the Avalanche this season. Two of those games were decided by one goal, but I think the raucous environment in Calgary will be too much for Colorado to handle so to negate some of the heavy juice, Im siding with Calgary on the puck line here. The plus money is tempting with Colorado considering some of the offensive talent that the Avs have on the ice with the likes of MacKinnon, Rantanen and co.
